Product Description

The EEA-PAM-581-D-32 power amplifier from Eaton is integrated with user-configurable PID modules that support closed-loop and feed-forward operation. The amplifier comes with nine DIL switches and potentiometers that can be adjusted in different combinations based on the application it is used for. The unit is CE Certified. It is meant for use with the set of KHDG5V-5/7/8 valves from the manufacturer. The device has 47 kilo Ohms analog voltage input impedance and 100 Ohms analog current input impedance.

The amplifier has a reference voltage ranging between -10V and +10V, as well as a 15V output control supply. The unit is equipped with a drive signal zero indicator and a ramp active indicator. It also supports alarm output as the drive output status. The alarm can be set by enabling the amplifier on one of its pins about 500ms after switching on the power supply. The sensor signal offset can range anywhere between -10% and +10% while its gain ranges between 90% and 120%. The power amplifier is marketed under the Vickers brand name.
