Product Description
The EEA-PAM-525-D-32 is a part of the EEA-PAM power amplifiers by the manufacturer Eaton in its D series. The amplifier has all the specifications of the A series of amplifiers except for the gain factor. The unit is CE Certified. It takes up very little space in the rack enclosure. There are various potentiometers on the front panel that are easily reconfigurable and can be used to set various values. Two potentiometers help in setting command ramp values up and down. The Vickers brand amplifier is meant for use with the manufacturer’s K*G4V-5 valves.
The amplifier has a 24V input power supply that is indicated by a green-colored LED. The unit indicates a sensor failure by illuminating an LED in red. It has 100 Ohms current input impedance. The sensor load current digital output is capable of withstanding continuous short circuit conditions. The device has greater than or equal to 10 kilo Ohms load impedance for the feedback signal analog output. The analog voltage output from the ramp generator ranges between -10V and +10V. The ramp active indicator has 10 kilo Ohms output resistance.
The built-in test feature of the power amplifier makes it easy to verify the operational status of the unit. The amplifier also supports an automatic switchover p/Q function. It is used in p/Q control applications with the external or internal switchover. The eight sockets on the front panel are arranged in two sets of four sockets each. The device has a PID controller output monitor point. An LED gets lit in red when the power amplifier is overloaded. The amplifier has a Eurocard type of design to make the installation process hassle-free. We can ship the power amplifier to any address in the world with a one-year warranty period.
