Product Description
The PY9A150U0XXXC09 is a PY series servo amplifier with reliable performance. The parameters of the Sanyo Denki servo amplifier can be set or modified using a remote operator or the PC-SETUP software. However, the software cannot be used for power phasing. The unit must never be installed in a corrosive environment. This will cause contact failure at contact points when the amplifier operates for an extended period. If there is no provision for space on all four sides of the amplifier during its vertical installation, a fan must be installed additionally to increase the airflow. The unit can withstand 0.5G maximum vibration at10Hz to 55Hz frequency range.
The servo amplifier supports a non-operating temperature range of -20°C to 65°C. The unit must always be set up in a clean and protected environment that is free of dust, oil mist, and water. All analog and digital control signal inputs of the device must be terminated. The photo-coupler inputs utilize a 5VDC to 24VDC supply. The control wires used for the amplifier connection must be kept as short as possible. The Gain mode of the 7-segment display indicates both the current status as well as one of the latest seven alarms recorded.
The LED display shows the rotating figure of 8 when the Servo ON signal is activated. When the amplifier signals an alarm, the motion is stopped and resumes only after the cause is rectified and the alarm is reset. The Parameter Select mode of operation of the remote monitor features nine parameters for the operator to make choices from among various factory options. The PY Setup software can be initialized by installing the same with the help of the Setup program. To establish an online connection, the PY Setup cable must be connected to the OP connector housed on the amplifier.
