Product Description
The PY0A030E0XXYPH1 is an AC Servo Amplifier with pulse-type input. The Sanyo Denki unit is a part of the PY series of Servo Amplifiers from the manufacturer. The amplifier has three input power phases, 30A current rating, and a 200V power unit. The unit must be fixed in a vertical position on the four fixing holes provided using tightening screws. It features pulse-type input and can be used with rotary motors for small to medium capacity applications. The Servo Amplifier comprises three kinds of velocity commands. It is about half to three fourths the size of the usual amplifiers of this type.
The wires of the amplifier must not be inspected or arranged under a hot-line condition. A UL-approved circuit breaker must be inserted to the input wiring of the power supply unit for protection. The servo amplifier comes with a dynamic brake, an input/output signal connector, and a sensor signal connector. In the case of an alarm, the dynamic brake kicks into operation even if the main circuit power supply is intact. The unit houses an inbuilt regenerative resistor and processing unit. The command mode switching function helps in changing the control mode using a remote operator without shutting down the power supply. The efficient circuit technology makes the amplifier highly reliable with a long life.
The electrolytic capacitor located inside the Servo Amplifier must be replaced once in five years as preventive maintenance. The amplifier must be stored in a shaded place without exposure to direct sunlight and below 90% humidity. The printed circuit boards of the unit must remain untouched when unpacking it from its box. The device is compatible with Type 12 and Type 13 servomotors. The SELECT front panel helps in keeping a record of the last seven, alarm history data for later review and ease of troubleshooting.
