Product Description
The T22NRHJ-LDN-NS-00 is one of Pacific Scientific’s top-rated stepper motors in its T series with high torque generation. The motor makes use of optimized magnetics so that it can be accommodated in a small envelope to take up less space. The unit is far more economical than servomotors and produces more torque than motors with three-phase and five-phase designs even when operating at a nominal speed. It has a regular leadwire hookup or construction style. The motor features enhanced torque linearity above the rated current.
The stepper motor needs less input power for operation in comparison to three-phase motors that generate the same torque. The motor ensures a smooth microstepping performance while producing low detent harmonic torque at the same time. It features a two-phase design with NEMA 23 mounting style. The unit is enclosed in a rugged square housing of 2.25 inches frame size. The enclosed connections make the motor a good choice for use in demanding environments. However, the unit offers compatibility for terminal box construction and mounting an encoder. It comes with a removable cover that supports access to the leads if needed.
The motor does not produce any feedback and comes with J type winding. The high torque motor encompasses a laminated rotor with 2 stack length and a smooth shaft with rear shaft extension. The unit has four leads that have parallel connection. It has 1.98Nm holding torque, 0.0424Nm detent torque, 3.69°C/Watt thermal resistance and 0.0408kgm2 x 10-3 rotor inertia. The standard sequence device has a very compact size of 3.06 inches and weighs just 2.3kg. The motor includes a 0.25 inches double shaft and #22 AWG length with a minimum length of 12 inches and 0.05 inches diameter. It consists of four mounting holes with 0.205 inches diameter and four #4-40 ground screws.
