Product Description

The T21NRLD-LNN-NS-00 is a T series stepper motor by Pacific Scientific. The motor is one of the various high performing motors from the manufacturer. The high torque motor produces more torque than motors with three-phase and five-phase designs even when operating at a moderate speed. The unit has a 2.25 inches square frame size and D type winding. The housingless frame encompassing the motor has a rugged design. The device renders a smooth microstepping performance. The enclosed connections make the motor suitable for use in very demanding environments. The motor generates low detent harmonic torque.

The stepper motor encompasses a regular leadwire construction with four lead wires that are connected in series. The device has no feedback and no rear shaft extension. The unit comes with a double-ended shaft and a laminated rotor with a stack length of 1. It supports NEMA 23 style mounting configuration. The motor has a maximum length of 2.21 inches and weighs 0.7kg. The high torque unit is capable of boosting the acceleration to move the loads at a fast rate. The device needs lesser input power than a three-phase motor for the same torque.

The motor features 1.27Nm holding torque, 1.1ADC rated current per phase, 4.9 Ohms phase resistance and 30mH typical phase inductance. The unit is less expensive than servo motors. It supports an optional terminal box construction with either 50-14 NPT L construction or (PGII) M construction. The shaft has a diameter of 0.25 inches. The stepper comes with four mounting holes of diameter 0.205 inches each and a #4-40 ground screw. The device comes with a cover that can be removed so that there is easy access to the leads. It is highly compatible with almost all drivers. The motor is a good choice for use in intermittent duty applications.
