Product Description
SC723A-001 is a three-phase servo controller with an input voltage of 120VAC and an operating frequency range of 47Hz to 63Hz. The SC720 series servo controller comes with a warranty period of two years against defects in assembly and material. The single-axis unit from Pacific Scientific must always be removed from the power supply for a safe shutdown. It is used for operating with the R series low inertia and rare earth magnets from the manufacturer. The servo controller can also be connected to a motion controller, the DAC of a computer or a PLC. The device portrays a modular design and has an approximate weight of 16 pounds. It is ideal for application in harsh industrial environments.
The 7 series controller comprises a 12-bit RDC with 1024 ppr option code, a torque/velocity controller with emulator encoder function code, standard unit customization code and 7.5A continuous or 15A peak current rating. No connections must be made with the internal circuitry of the controller. The controller features 16.75 inches mounting height. There must be at least four inches unobstructed space below and above the unit after mounting after installing in the appropriate cabinet with Phoenix screw terminal connections. The device features 35W power dissipation at 50% of rated continuous current and 3.5A/V current loop scaling.
The fully fused servo controller offers protection against over-temperature and output short circuit. The controller makes use of insulated gate bipolar transistor technology at the output stage to render high bandwidth and reduce the overall size of the unit. The four-quadrant controller comes with a shunt regulator, inbuilt cooling fans and an internal power supply. It houses separate AC inputs for bus power and control logic. The servo controller is UL Recognized. The servo controller offers complete access on the front to connections marked clearly.
