The SC402-024 by the Pacific Scientific is designed to help Brushless Servo Motors operate significantly and effectively. It has an optically and magnetically isolated output stage that enhances the reliability and reduces ground loop disturbances. Its sophisticated design and versatile protection circuits ensure trouble free-operation of the servo-motors.
The SC402-024 should be stored in a very dry and clean place. The recommended storage temperature is -55 °C and 70 °C. It should be stored properly at a recommended temperature to prevent any damage. Follow the instructions carefully while mounting the SC402-024. Mounting is usually done by three slots that are located on the servo motor controller. To ensure safety the SC402-024 must be placed in an environment which is free of dust, moisture or corrosive materials. It should not be subjected to any excessive shock or vibration. There should be a min. 4 inches free space below and above and 1 inch free space on each side to insure proper cooling.
The efficiency and the form factor of the SC402-024 is >90% and <1.01 respectively. Its velocity offset is almost adjustable to zero and the current loop bandwidth is 3 kHz max. The required velocity input command of SC402-024 is +/- 10 V, its output ripple frequency is 20 kHz and its fault output is 30 VDC. Due to the open frame construction of the SC402-024, it must be placed in an enclosure to avoid any environmental and physical damage. The controller will fit in stand 12” deep NEMA enclosure.
