Product Description
The SC402-012-T4 is designed to ensure high-frequency PWM current control in order to achieve top-notch servo performance. Its careful design and multiple protection circuits ensure trouble-free operation. The SC402-012-T4 is a transformerless control that has direct 115/230 VAC line operation. It has an optically/magnetically isolated output stage that improves reliability, and decreases crosstalk and the ground loop disturbances.
The SC402-012-T4 has integral fusing and MOV protected input circuitry. One of the significant features of the SC402-012-T4 is it has peak current limit adjustment and has wide range of velocity loop dynamic adjustment. Unlike all others it has a multiple protection circuits. The output fault of the SC402-012-T4 protects against line-ground and line-line shorts. Its controller OT ensures safety against thermal overload. The control voltage OK protects against out of tolerance control voltages and it’s DC Bus Fault ensures safety against bus overvoltage.
The recommended input voltage of the SC402-012-T4 is 115/230 VAC (+10, -15%) and 1 or 3 phase, 47-63 Hz. Nominal bus voltage of the SC402-012-T4 for 230 VAC Input is 320 VDC and for 115 VAC Input it is 160 VDC. The output current peak of the SC402-012-T4 is 7.0 A. A continuous (stall) with 230 VAC input can bear 3.5 A whereas for 115 VAC input it is 4.2 A. The output power peak for the SC402-012-T4 with 230 VAC input is 2000 W whereas for a 115 VAC Input, the output power peak is 1000W. The SC402-012-T4 is created to operate Brushless Servo Motors, Permanent Magnetic Brushless Servo Motors or the other 3-phase by the Pacific Scientific. It is a stand-alone unit that is capable of four quadrant control of each PM Brushless Servo motor. The SC402-012-T4 can be put together with each Brushless servo motor as a torque block or as a velocity block, if the motors are equipped with Tachsyn.
