SC322A-001 is a part number of servo drive controller. It has many features and capabilities to control the motion of servo digital motors through software based configuration of the parameters. This controller is also referred to as SC320 series servo controller drives. Sometimes, it is also called as digital position command controller. SC322A-001 servo controller is made by Pacific Scientific Inc. It has been now acquired by Kollmorgen Inc.

This controller allows the configuration of current loops, position loop, and velocity loops of a digital servomotor through DPM software installed on any computer like IBM, PC or clone PC. This servo digital controller allows you to replace the analogue personality modules with the digital personality modules and run the motion automation processes more efficiently and precisely. The scaling loop current capacity of SC320 series digital servo controller is 1.7 ampere per volt. The peak current rating of this controller is 7.5 amperes.

These servomotor controllers are perfectly suitable and highly recommended for the Pacific Scientific servomotors that use digital commutation and permanent magnet as field excitation. The other main features of this servo controller include, four quadrant controllers, slots to add/remove both digital and analogue personality modules, and supports standalone use.
