Product Description

The S31HMNA-RNNM-00 is a high performance servo motor optimally produced by Pacific Scientific. This motor is brushless in design and offers a continuous torque ranging from 0.5 to 6.6 Nm. Additionally, this unit is available in a couple of different frame sizes with metric as well as NEMA 23 & 34 mounting faces. This particular servo motor is small and compact while supporting a lot of torque at the same time. The S31HMNA-RNNM-00 and other motors in the same series feature a myriad of useful features that are beneficial to the user in the long run.

This particular line of motors features a brushless construction. Such a brushless design eliminates the need to replace or maintain brushes over time, allowing the motor to withstand the demands of the factory floor. This high performance motor is able to support high torque over a wide range of speed. This is advantageous to the user as it improves the machine’s throughput. The S31HMNA-RNNM-00 also has an anti-cog motor design, resulting in smooth, low-speed operation.

Other features of this rugged motor include the unit’s Class H insulation, overtemperature thermistor, global approvals, and agency recognition. The motor’s Class H insulation allows the motor to last longer and reducing the amount of machine downtime. An overtemperature thermistor is useful as it protects the motor against damage while global approvals and agency recognition makes the recognition process easier on a machine. Further, multiple feedback options and brake options are included with the S31HMNA-RNNM-00. Multiple feedback options support various different control methods while the option of a brake improves the safety of the machine.
