Product Description
Power in a compact form factor is a feature that most global automation industries now seek when it comes to servo motors. The S30 series brushless servo motors from Kollmorgen/Pacific Scientific provide these features that industries want. The S30 series motors all have 6-pole synchronous servo motors and neodymium-iron-boron magnets are built-in for maximum torque. For the S30 series brushless servo motors, torques can range from 1.9NM to 6.6NM. For reliability and added strength, the motors’ bearing systems are fitted with “O” ring design assuring a longer life for motor components.
Noticeably, the S30 servo motors are built for speed and position control applications for various industries. The compact motors require not much space with their compact features, but does not compromise power. Aside from compact power, the S30 series brushless servo motors are also quite flexible and can be integrated by operators and users with other control components. There is a lot of options for S30 series brushless servo motors including a Holding Brake Option of No Brake and Frame Size/Stack Length of up to NEMA 34/4 Stack. Others include motor mounted connectors, and primary ad secondary feedbacks.
For its major features, the S31GNNA-RNVM-00 uses the S series 6-pole neodymium motor. It has a frame size and stack length NEMA 34/1 Stack. The shaft and mounting for this servo is a NEMA frame. The S31GNNA-RNVM-00 has no brake and its primary feedback size consists of a 21 frameless resolver. It has no secondary and uses a Viton shaft seal for shaft sealing. The terminations consist of a motor mounted MS connector.
