Product Description
The systems and energetic materials produced by Kollmorgen are the cornerstones in providing solutions in mission-critical situations. PacSci products, including but not limited to its pyrotechnic equipment, detonators, arming and safety equipment, deorbit and re-entry systems and equipment, and laser ordinance devices set and advance the world’s standards for safety and reliability in high-energy tasks and environments. Over 70 years of experience from Kollmorgen’s committed team of engineers and scientists makes Kollmorgen one’s greatest asset to achieve mission-success in any contingency and any environment.
Motors within Kollmorgen’s R40 Series of 4-pole synchronous servo motors are known for their smooth low-speed operation and rapid acceleration and deceleration. The R40 Series also utilizes samarium-cobalt permanent magnets to achieve a maximum torque-to-inertia ratio without risk of demagnetization. The R43HENA-R2-NS-NV-00 is a durable piece of equipment, built with rugged totally enclosed, non-ventilated (TENV) IP65 construction weighing 6.8 kg (15 lbs).
The motor generates 3.9 Nm of continuous stall torque and can provide a maximum torque of 10.4 Nm with the lowest inertia in the R40 series at 0.22 kgm2x10-3 for especially rapid acceleration and deceleration. It has a torque constant of 0.7 Nm/ARMS, draws 5.6 ARMS of continuous stall current, and generates 16.8 ARMS at its maximum torque capacity, and offers 2.5 Ohms of line-to-line resistance and 13.3 mH of line-to-line inductance. The motor’s typical rated speed, at 240 V ac / 320 V dc, is 3700 RPM, generating 3.6 Nm of torque. It uses a transmitter type, size 21 frameless resolver for primary feedback and lacks a secondary feedback mechanism. Its brake operates with 24 V dc, and the motor uses English mounting dimensions.
