The R32SSNA-R2-NS-NV-05 motor is a brushless servo motor designed and manufactured by the Pacific Scientific as part of the company's industrial automation technology series.

sealing (that ensure the protection of the motor against contacts, water, solid particles and dust), its characteristics IP67 wash-down attribute that allows the motor to stand up to the rigors of the factory floor and increases the motor's lifespan, and this feature is enhanced by its rugged brushless construction. Also, the motor covers a continuous torque range of 0.32Nm to 5.0Nm, a rated speed up to 7,000 RPM, a motor weight of 2.5Kg, an anti-cog stator designed for the motor to deliver smooth low-speed performance, makes use of samarium cobalt magnets

for the production of the highest torque-to-inertia ratios possible for maximum performance and value, and Steel bearing inserts that significantly reduce the motor's downtime while ensuring a long lifespan.

Unlike some other members of the series, the R32SSNA-R2-NS-NV-05 motor has no secondary encoder system, it has no shaft seal, and it has no holding brake option, instead, it has an integral parking brake that allows the user take control of the motor very easily, but the parking brake do not add to the motor's weight. The recommended environmental temperature for optimum operation is 25°C.
