Product Description
The R32GMNC-R2-NS-VS-00 is a compact and lightweight synchronous brushless servomotor from Pacific Scientific that offers maximum performance. The servomotor is enclosed in a square frame with a height or width of 3.25kg and weighs just 2.5kg. The rugged TENV along with the IP65 washdown construction adds to the durability of the synchronous unit.
The bearing of the motor has a long life because of the steel bearing insert and the O ring that does not allow the outer bearing race to rotate when the motor is in use. Similarly, the thermistor included with the unit and the Class H high temperature insulation prevents the motor from getting affected when it operates at a temperature much above the ambient operating temperature. The ideal operating temperature for the brushless motor is 25°C. The optimum working bus voltage is either 240VAC or 320VDC. The permanent samarium-cobalt rare earth magnets help in preventing demagnetization from happening and generating a torque-to-inertia ratio as high as possible. The rotor produces low inertia for speedy deceleration and acceleration and the stator sports an anti-cog design.
The servomotor showcases a typical rated speed of 4,000RPM and a typical rated torque of 1.2Nm at the operating bus voltage. The motor also has RMS torque constant and voltage constant of 0.6Nm/A and 0.36V/kRPM respectively. It has a line-to-line resistance of 7.3 Ohms and a line-to-line inductance of 23mH. The motor has a magnetic stack that has nearly two inches length, G type winding, a Viton shaft seal and a metric style mounting option. The unit does not support a holding brake or a secondary feedback option. The primary feedback is generated through a transmitter size frameless resolver of size 21. The UL Recognized motor is apt for use in places where space is a major constraint, as well as in speed and position control applications that rely on maximum performance.
