Product Description
The R32GENC-TS-NS-VS-00 is a synchronous brushless servomotor designed by Pacific Scientific to meet high performance requirements. The R32 series motor portrays G type winding and a magnet stack of two inches in length. The unit features permanent rare earth magnets made of samarium-cobalt. This ensures that there is no demagnetization and maximum torque-to-inertia ratio at the same time.
The motor has a square frame and a width or height of 3.25 inches. The four-pole unit incorporates an anti-cog design for its stator while the rotor generates low inertia for very fast acceleration or deceleration. The device operates at an ambient temperature of 25 °C. The inbuilt thermistor and Class H insulation protect the motor from high and over temperatures. The rugged TENV and IP65 washdown construction makes the motor really durable to last for a long time. The steel bearing insert gives the bearing a very long life. This is further enhanced by the O ring that prevents the outer bearing race from rotating when the motor is in use.
The servomotor does not produce secondary feedback. It also has no holding brake option. The motor comprises English mounting style and encompasses a Viton shaft seal. The unit has a thermal time constant of 20 minutes, RMS voltage constant of 0.36V/kRPM and RMS torque constant of 0.6N/A. The device has an ambient operating temperature of 25 °C and an operating bus voltage of 240VAC or 320VDC. The synchronous motor makes use of a Tachsyn sensor for its primary feedback. The lightweight feature helps in easily transporting the motor from one place to another. It depicts a current rating of 8.7A at a peak torque of 4.4Nm, thermal resistance of 0.93 deg. C/Watt and a viscous damping coefficient of 0.005Nm/kRPM. The motor also showcases inertia of 0.071kgm2 x 10-3 and a typical rated speed of 4,000RPM.
