Product Description
The R32GENC-R2-NS-NV-00 is a high performance servomotor from Pacific Scientific in its R32 series. The servomotor is enclosed in a square frame and has a width or height of 3.25 inches. It supports an optional NEMA 56C face. The motor has an IP65 rating and features a rugged TENV washdown construction. The four-pole motor has an anti-cog stator design.
The synchronous unit features rare earth permanent magnets made of samarium-cobalt that render a very high torque-to-inertia ratio for the best performance and enhanced dynamic response. The choice of these magnets also ensures that there is no demagnetization. The device operates at an ambient temperature of 25°C. The motor encompasses G type winding and has a magnet stack length of approximately two inches. It supports an English mount with no holding brake option. The shaft does not have a seal on it. The rotor produces very low inertia that offers acceleration and/or deceleration at a rapid rate. It works at a bus voltage of 240VAC or 320VDC. The device is UL Recognized and a Class H high temperature insulation.
The servomotor offers only one feedback that is the primary feedback. This feedback is achieved through a frameless resolver of type transmitter. The unit features a peak torque of 4.4Nm, maximum static friction of 0.03Nm, continuous stall current of 2.9A, a torque constant of 0.6Nm/A and a thermal time constant of 20 minutes. The synchronous motor also has a current rating of 8.7A at peak torque, a line-to-line inductance of 23mH and a line-to-line resistance of 7.3 ohms. The black colored motor has a typical rated speed of 4,000RPM and provisions for optional shaft configurations and secondary feedback. The compact unit is also lightweight and weighs just 2.5kg. It is best suited for use in areas where there is a space constraint and yet maximum performance is required.
