Product Description
The R22HSNA-R1-NS-NV-04 is manufactured by Pacific Scientific. This server motor features rare earth magnets that help to provide the motor with top quality torque to inertia ratio. The motor is designed in a small compact housing making it useful for many applications where installation space is a prime commodity. The motor is also designed for applications where there is a need for a high dynamic response.
The mounting type and shaft on this servo motor are factory assigned, as well as the sequence number. It does feature a transmitter type along with a Frameless resolver and a primary feedback size of 15 with no secondary feedback.
The R22HSNA-R1-NS-NV-04 is a 4 pole synchronous servo motor. The rare earth magnets used in this motor are samarium cobalt permanent magnets. These magnets are responsible for the motors ability to provide maximum torque to inertia ratio without the demagnetization found in other motors that do not use this type of technology.
This Pacific Scientific motor uses a maximum of 320V dc bus for its operation. It also uses 18-inch leads with MS type connectors and features an anti-cog stator design. The motor has a rated speed of up to 11,000 RPM and will provide a torque range of 0.3 to 1.1 Nm for continuous torque.
The motor has several built-in protection features including a thermistor to protect against overheating. The motor also features insulation of Class H specifications which help to allow the motor to safely run even in conditions where the environment maybe a little less than ideal. So the unit will withstand a bit of heat during operation and continue to operate safely and reliably. The unit is designed to offer longer bearing life as it utilizes “O” rings that help to keep the bearings from rotating and thus protecting their lifespan.
