Product Description
The N43HRLN-LDK-NS-00 motor from Pacific Scientific is one of the manufacturer’s several N series POWERPAC brand of hybrid step motors. This motor runs cooler than several other steppers that use the same drives during operation. It has a winding type of N. The device has an insulation resistance of 100 Megohms at 25°C and 500VDC. The unit can be used with the manufacturer’s Impulse, NextStep, and SMARTSTEP series of micro-stepping drives with 160VDC bus voltage and 90 to 120VAC input voltage. The motor does not have any encoder as there is no feedback. This product renders a smooth micro-stepping action.
This step motor has a lead-wire hookup and regular construction style. It also features a heavy-duty NEMA mounting configuration. The device produces both non-torque and torque-producing flux during operation. Its single-ended shaft has a large diameter and houses a straight keyway but no shaft seal. The unit comprises an O-ring at the rear end of the bearing to hold it in position. The motor has a compact size and therefore occupies less space. The hybrid device features NEMA Class B insulation at 130°C according to File E103510 specifications. The product requires less power than three-phase motors to produce the same amount of torque. Its torque generation capability is also more when compared to three-phase and five-phase designs.
The motor has a non-cumulative angular accuracy of +/-1.5% of one full step with no load. This device can be used for intermittent duty applications because it is not possible to exceed the thermal limit. Its acceleration boost is primarily because of the resistance to demagnetization. The shaft and bearings have an almost infinite life. The product operates between an ambient temperature range of -20°C and +40°C. The unit has a housing-less, two-phase rugged design. The N43HRLN-LDK-NS-00 step motor comes with a warranty for one year.
