Product Description
Pacific Scientific is committed to producing the highest quality motion control systems. The company's stepper motors are widely used in the industry.
The P22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 is a powerful NEMA 23 stepper motor. The motor comes with additional magnets in the stator slots that help to generate more torque. The system produces a 1.43 Nm torque per winding. To ensure maximum heat dissipation, the P22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 has a polymer encapsulated stator. Besides, exposed lamination aids have been chosen for this motor's design. Exposed lamination also expedite heat transfer. The two features prevent heat build-up inside the motor’s enclosure. This model has a 3.1 A rated current per winding and comes with a 1.13 kg weight. A 6.3 mm shaft size has been chosen for the P22NSXC-LSN-NS-03. A large shaft diameter helps the motor to sustain increased radial and axial loads. This is the largest shaft diameter among NEMA 23 motors.
The stepper also comes with oversized 30 mm bearings (as compared to the normal 22 mm bearings). This enables the motor to sustain more cycles of loading. This also prevents early fatigue failure of the motor shaft. The motor comes with an optional Sigmax Technology that ensures more torque availability for any motor. To maintain a concentric air gap, a precise rotor and a honed stator are provided in this model. This ensures that the motor's performance is not compromised despite an economical design. This model has an octagonal housing and comes with an 8-pole pin connector. The P22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 has been designed to produce the highest acceleration rates among NEMA 23 motors. This is made possible by a low inertia rotor. The P22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 comes with a CE approval and has the protection class IP 23.
