The P22NSXA-LNF-NS-02 is a high power stepper motor that produces the highest amount of torque in its size and speed range. This frame hybrid stepper comes with optimized magnetics and an improved rotor and stator design. This enables the motor to produce the highest acceleration rates on top of increased torque. The motor has a 1.13 kg weight and it can produce a 1.39 Nm holding torque. This model comes with polymer end bells with threaded inserts. This provides greater flexibility in mounting and brake options. The P22NSXA-LNF-NS-02 belongs to the NEMA 23 category motors and its standard version comes with 8-poles. Despite an economical motor design, high-quality performance is ensured with this stepper. A hone stator and a precision ground rotor ensure that a concentric air gap is always maintained.
The P22NSXA-LNF-NS-02 has a 0.42 ohm resistance per winding and a rated current of 6.5 A per winding. This model comes with a large shaft diameter. With a 6.3 mm shaft diameter, the motor has the largest shaft diameter among NEMA 23 class motors. Because of this, the outer shaft is able to sustain much more radial and axial loads. Many shaft modifications are also possible owing to a larger diameter. This model comes with exposed laminations that are specifically designed to facilitate the thermal dissipation process and maintain an optimum motor temperature. The motor’s armature is insulated with class B insulation materials. This enables the armature to sustain temperatures up to 266 ᵒ F. The P22NSXA-LNF-NS-02 is a two-phase motor and comes with a full step angle of 1.8 ᵒ.
