The P22NRXD-LSN-NS-03 is a high efficiency, hybrid stepper motor designed by Pacific Scientific as part of its motion control technology. The motor was made with precision ground rotor OD and honed stator ID to provide a concentric air gap in an economical motor design.
The P22NRXD-LSN-NS-03 motor has an improved heat dissipation system that reduces downtime and extends the motor life through the use of polymer encapsulated stator and exposed laminations, and the motor life is further extended by its oversized 30mm bearings.
The motor features new polymer end bell with threaded inserts that provides greater
flexibility in mounting the encoder and brake options. Not only that, the motor offers a ±3% of one full step, no load, non-cumulative angular accuracy, 200 full steps per revolution at 1.8° full step angle, -20° to 40° operating temperature (the motor comes with two years warranty if used under adequate environmental conditions), and NEMA Class B with 130°C insulation, 100 Megohms @500V dc and 25°C insulation resistance.
The motor has adequate wash-down construction, IP65 standard protection design, easily controlled timing belt that prevents backlash, bidirectional acceleration or deceleration for adequate position control, has compacted structure built with magnetic materials that impact it with low inertia mass and lightweight.
The P22NRXD-LSN-NS-03 motor can come with three different holding torque ranges depending on the selection (42-61 for half rotor stack selection, 77-116 for full rotor stack selection and 138-214 for double rotor stack selection).
