Product Description
The P22NRXB-LDF-NS-00 POWERMAC II brand hybrid stepper motor has a NEMA 23 size. The regular construction-type motor from Pacific Scientific features an octagonal housing and an all-in-one molded stator assembly. This device encompasses rare-earth neodymium-iron-boron magnets with high energy in the rotor. The lack of magnet inserts in the stator triggers leakage of flux as is the case with normal stepper motors. The product comes with larger shaft diameter and bearings than other motors of the same size. There are chances of demagnetization when the device is put to use at over the rated current. The unit features a high-performance gearhead.
The stepper motor is capable of increasing the existing torque range. The bearing fatigue life is over 10,000 hours at any speed when the device functions within the maximum axial and radial loads. This product supports a maximum axial load of 13lbs. This is the load towards the motor on the unit shaft end. The motor operates between temperatures of -20°C and +40°C. It encompasses a flat-type double-ended shaft with a diameter of 0.375 inches. The two-phase hybrid device features a non-cumulative angular accuracy of 3% when it operates without any load. The unit produces no feedback and does not have the facility to mount an encoder.
The mating connector of the motor has a high retention force due to the integral electrical receptacle. This UL Recognized product works with an oscillator model micro-stepping device or those that have step/direction input. The stator is fully encapsulated with polymer that results in excellent thermal dissipation along the exposed laminations. The concentric air gap boosts the performance of the hybrid device in an economical design. The unit has a NEMA Class B insulation at 130°C. The P22NRXB-LDF-NS-00 has a one-year warranty and can be delivered to any address globally.
