Product Description
The M series M22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 hybrid step motor has a laminated rotor and a fully encapsulated stator. This two-step motor from Pacific Scientific completes 200 full steps in one full revolution and has a full step angle of 1.8°. It has samarium cobalt magnets fitted in the stator that aids in flux concentration. This results in high acceleration and torque. The device is encased in an octagonal housing and features an all-in-one molded stator assembly. The product supports a NEMA mounting style with special construction. The motor also has a honed stator inner diameter that helps to produce a concentric air gap.
The step motor has a winding type of C to suit any application and a receptacle type termination. The mating leaded connectors for the termination can be ordered separately. The electrical connector, encapsulated windings and rugged end bell feature high-tech polymer. The product has an insulation resistance of 100 Megohms at 25°C and 100VDC. The bearings fatigue life is 400% more than that of the standard 22mm bearings. This is more than 10,000 hours at any speed, if the device is operated within the maximum load limits. The M22NSXC-LSN-NS-03 can be shipped to any country across the world with a one-year warranty period.
The hybrid motor operates between -20°C and +40°C. The product has a non-cumulative angular accuracy of +/-1.5% of one step with no load. It supports a maximum radial load of 20lbs at the middle of the normal shaft extension. The device can also withstand up to 13lbs. axial load towards the motor on the front shaft extension. The unit does not incorporate any encoder for feedback and also has no provision for mounting one. The motor is fitted with a special smooth shaft. The device has a sequence number of 03. The polymer end bell features threaded inserts. The unit renders a dependable and high-quality operation.
