Product Description
Pacific Scientific has a great reputation in the field of motion control equipment. The company’s POWERMAX II stepper motors are widely used in the industry.
The M22NRXE-LDF-HH-00 is a hybrid stepper motor designed for high torque and rapid acceleration. The motor belongs to the NEMA 23 category motors and comes with a standard connector and an octagonal design. For reducing maintenance downtimes and enhancing the motor’s life, this model has been designed with exposed lamination aids. Due to exposure, the lamination aids assist in rapid heat transfer that keeps an optimum motor temperature. This model also comes with polymer end bells that have threaded inserts. This design modification provides greater freedom while mounting the motor’s brake and encoder. The motor supports a series and parallel connection because of an 8-pole pin connector. Thermal dissipation is further assisted by the motor's’ polymer encapsulated stator. The M22NRXE-LDF-HH-00 comes with a standard connector and its encoder's life is enhanced because of the use of an end bell.
The M22NRXE-LDF-HH-00 uses a large diameter shaft. With a 6.3 mm shaft diameter, the motor’s shaft size is considered the largest among all NEMA 23 category stepper motors. A larger shaft diameter enables the motor to sustain greater, radial, and axial loads. Furthermore, the motor's bearings have been kept oversized (30 mm) instead of the conventional 22 mm. This design modification enables the motor to bear more cycles of loading and enhances the motor’s life by preventing early fatigue failure. The motor’s step size is 1.8 ᵒ and its internal components use class B insulation materials that are designed to withstand temperatures up to 266 F. Because of the new Sigmax Technology, the motor has a greater available torque among other motors of its size range.
