Product Description
Pacific Scientific manufactures servo and stepper motors that are able to adapt with many different types of environments. Whether you need a motor for the washdown environments or just to operate a specific piece of machinery in your factory, Pacific Scientific has got you covered. All types of motors consistently convert electrical power into mechanical power, torque, and speed. The feature that sets apart stepper motors from all others is that they can be controlled very accurately in terms of speed and rotation angle.
Pacific Scientific’s stepper motors are brushless DC motors that require an electronic driver to operate the windings. The rotation is controlled through electrical pulses inputted into the driver as the motor rotates one step per pulse. Pacific Scientific also manufactures hybrid stepper motors that are strategic combinations of magnet stepper and reluctance stepper motors. In the hybrid motor, both the stator and rotor are multi-toothed. While it has an axially magnetized rotor, the stator is electromagnetically energized. These Pacific Scientific hybrid stepper motors have been a popular choice for factory owners looking to automate their operations by relying on the latest technologies of motion control.
The M22NRFA-LDS-NS-02 is an M Series POWERMAX II Hybrid Step Motor produced by Pacific Scientific. These Pacific Scientific hybrid step motors are the most powerful amongst all other competitors, providing factory owners with the most reliable and highest torque per motor size and speed range. The M22NRFA-LDS-NS-02 hybrid stepper motor is equipped with NEMA Mounting and a size of NEMA 23. While the construction of Pacific Scientific’s M22NRFA-LDS-NS-02 motor is regular, it does feature 8 flying leads and a standard rotor type. This motor also has a double shaft configuration and shaft modification, and a factory assigned encoder option.
