Product Description
If you are looking for a combination of speed, quality, functionality and flexibility, then you might want to consider the PC800 Series from Kollmorgen/Pacific Scientific. The series is the next-generation all-digital servo drives from Kollmorgen/Pacific Scientific bringing innovation and cost-effectiveness to a number of industries including printing and material, manufacturing, electronic assembly, and packaging.
The all-digital servo drives are fitted with a digital resolver to digital conversion algorithm. The products have 400 Hz loop bandwidth, 24-bit position resolutions and torque range of 0.5 newton meter to 48.5 newton meter. This 24-bit position resolution assures the smoothest low-speed and position accuracy. This can be as low as five arc minutes. One of the more notable characteristics of the PC800 is usability. The products are compact with dimensions of 3.5 inches in width by 8 inches in length and 6.25 inches deep, and will work with either step and direction or analog profiling. The two available power levels of A 3.6A continuous and 10.6A continuous and 21.2A peak RMS currents allows for flexibility and reliability for uses.
The PC834-001-A belongs to the next-generation PC800 series of servo drives. Some of the important features include a power level of 7.1A RMS which is continuous at 25 to 40 degrees Celsius. This power level peaks at 21.2 A RMS. The PC834-001-A features a command interface designation of SERCO Network and a command interface design of RS-232/484 at plus or minus 1O volts (DC). The command interface features step/direction indexing, which is similar with other products under the PC800 series. The PC834-001-A is a standard unit but comes in with a sub-connector kit, as an added accessory.
