Product Description
The Pacific Scientific PC834-001 drive belongs to the PC800 group of high performance drives. This digital servo drive could be ordered without an accessory kit, PC834-001-N or with a basic connector kit, PC834-001-A. The order type with an accessory kit has three models these include PC834-001-A with a 21.2 ARMS standard servo drive, CA800 with a basic connector kit and model MA830 while the order type without an accessory kit has two models which include PC834-001-N with a peak standard servo drive of 21.2 ARMS and MA830.
This servo drive has 6 user mappable inputs which can be easily configured by creating a new configuration or by editing an existing one, 3 user mappable outputs and one mappable relay output. The PC834-001 mappable input functions include the analog input null, a counterclockwise inhibit which is capable of inhibiting motor motion in a counterclockwise direction when asserted, a position mode select which switches the active mode of operation to position mode, a run stop which selects between normal operation and setting the velocity command to zero.
PC800 mappable output functions are as follows: A default brake which indicates when the motor is not powered and when a mechanical brake is needed to hold the motor, electrical revs with square waves whose frequency is equal to the motor electrical frequency, mechanical revs with square wave whose frequency is equal to the resolver’s electrical frequency, a move done function which indicates when a move is complete, an excess position error which is asserted when there is an excess following error for an extended period of time, and lots more. These outputs are either high or low, depending on the mappable function configured.
