The 105-050001-01 is an emulation board manufactured by Pacific Scientific. The emulation is used in a wide array of factory applications such as robotics. It is used to control torque, speed, motion, and positioning. When used with Pacific Scientific servo motors, it can provide a continuous current of between 3.8A and 60A and achieve a peak current ranging between 7.5A and 120A. Also, peak torque of 1.1 to 90Nm is achievable when 105-040300-01 is combined with these motors. This wide range of torque provides power applicable in many rigorous applications on the factory floor.
This Pacific Scientific emulation board features top tier operating features such as IGBT PWM output control stage, directional dynamic braking, screw terminal connectors which are phoenix pluggable and smooth bandwidth position, speed, torque and velocity control. 105-040300-01 comes with extensive I/O such as 5 and 4 dedicated control outputs and inputs respectively. It also comes with an analog input and output. At least three communication channels are present in the emulation board. They include a PacLAN 2.5 Mbaud industrial Local Area Network which enables sharing of information among axes, RS-232 interface, and RS-485/422 interface. Both interfaces are 9600 baud.
