Product Description
The VAC2-D45-A is an industrial servo drive designed by Okuma to accurately control servo motors used in industrial automation systems. This drive operates by taking a command signal, comparing it with the predetermined configurational parameters in order to provide the electrical voltage required to correct any deviation of the motor from the commanded status. The VAC2-D45-A industrial servo drive features a housing that is designed to protect its internal components from solid substances with an external diameter higher than 50 millimeters; this housing offers no protection against liquid interference. The servo drive should be installed into another control cabinet that meets at least the IP54 protection class to provide optimum protection. The operation of this servo drive is designed to be very easy and safe; however, only highly trained engineers should be allowed to operate this controller as the wring handling of the servo drive can cause it to initiate the dangerous movements of servo motors connected to it.
The VAC2-D45-A industrial servo drive can be configured to meet the operational requirements of different types of industrial motors and machines; examples of machines compatible with the operation of this servo drive include metal forming machines, food production machines, textile machines and lots more.
The VAC2-D45-A industrial servo drive features an internal fuse that protects its power circuit from sudden current surges. The maximum permissible height at which this servo drive should be installed is about 1000 meters above sea level; operating the controller above the height can cause a significant reduction in the efficiency of the servo drive. This servo drive also has a total weight of about 20 kilograms.
