Product Description

Okuma produces numerous spindle drives, which includes legacy products too. These are instrumental in delivering the ultimate blend of power, ease of use, flexibility, and performance. In addition to its excellent torque production and precise control, they are easy to understand and involve an effortless setup. What is more important is that they cater to the continuous need for an increased power density and the growing number of user specifications are leading to an increasing demand for high-speed spindle drives.

The Okuma D8-A or the D8A(also known as the 1006-1216) VACII-spindle Drive Unit enhances the performance and reliability of your machine applications when used with the entire line of Okuma’s spindle drive products during the operation of machine tool spindles. These Drives are an inescapable element in the machinery related to motion applications for exercising precision actions and are used as very effective variable frequency motor controllers. The construction and design are related to the main PCB Control (printed circuit board), a VAC board -II, a VAC card 1 and the main Power supply unit. The control PCB and the cover are fixed to the power supply unit door with the screws.

Whether you want simple control, advanced communications, or simply the functional safety, look no further than the Okuma D8A VACII-spindle Drive systems for meeting all your variable velocity requirements. They have many benefits with the most significant being the ease of varying the operating power demands and alter the frequency and voltage as per the requirement of the electric motors. With a weight of just around 10.30 lbs, the Okuma D8-A spindle Drive Unit brings a notable increment in accuracy and productivity to mechanical equipment and finds extensive use in CNC machines.
