Product Description

The VAC A D22-A is an AC Servo spindle drive controller manufactured by Okuma. It is part of the spindle drive unit controllers in the VACII VAC2 series. It is designed to work perfectly with Okuma Spindle motors (22/15kW) for CNC Machine-tool with a motor type of VAC-MM22/15. The AC spindle drive comes to you complete with a power unit and a control board. The VAC A D22-A comes with a 12-month warranty to assure that your CNC machine tools have optimum maintenance.

After replacing the AC Spindle drive unit, ensure that you return the original setting using the marked switch (SW1, SW2, SW3, SW4, SW5, SW6, VR1, VR2, and VR3) on the control board. You simply need to look at how they were marked on the old control board that you were using. The switch settings are dependent on the model of the AS spindle motor. During normal operations of the AC spindle drive unit (when the LED’s Ml, M2, and M3 are all OFF), the other LEDs show the input/output status of the input/output signals.

It is worth to note that with WCHC Winding changeover signal, you should switch ON when the winding selection command (high-speed range) is input and OFF when the winding selection command (low-speed range) is input. With AWCHC Winding changeover completion signal, you should switch ON after winding selection (high-speed range) is finished and OFF after the winding selection (low-speed range) is finished. Faulty operation status is showed in three conditions by the LED1s Ml and M2. M1 and M2 both flicker at the same time, M1 light up and then M2 lights up. It becomes impossible for the VAC drive unit to operate.
