BLIV-D100A is a unique drive unit that contains only one axis. The axis’s unit capacity is 100 amps. One hundred amps is considered a high amount when powering a drive unit. The uniqueness of this piece is its compatibility with other amounts of unit capacities. The BLIV-D100A is compatible with 15 , 30 , 50,  75, and 100 Amps. The type of this part is ‘A’. This drive unit comes with a power unit, and an impeccably made control PC Board.

Okuma produced and manufactured the BLIV-D100A with a variety of valuable and beneficial functions. One of the functions programmed and installed into the drive unit is the LED operation status indicators. Like many products produced by Okuma, the BLIV-D100A includes color changing lights that indicate when the drive unit is running smoothly and when there is a possible malfunction. The LED operation status indicators come in three different colors; Green, Orange and Red. When the LED light is green the AC Servo Drive Unit is on and supplying power to the main unit.

When the LED light is red there is a possible malfunction that may include, but is not limited to; strangely high or low power currents, overheating of the power board, and when there is a problem with the control circuit.
