Product Description
The BLII-D50A features a power unit of 50 and falls in the Type A servo drives produced by Okuma. This workhorse is found in robotics, factory automation, metal cutting, and other machines. The servo drive offers torque, motion, and speed control that enable precise operations in the factory. It comes loaded with features that bolster its productivity. They include an enabling compact design, high reliable large-current PC board and a dynamic brake function that stops the motor, among others. This servo drive typically controls current to a brushless motor according to servo processor board commands.
BLII-D50A is applicable with a motor output of 1.5 to 2.5 kW. There are at least five compatible motors which include BL-MS50E-20 and BL-MS75E-20. Combined with these motors, you get a cost-effective package that provides high-efficiency operation yet at a reduced cost. The Okuma servo drive has a 13Arms continuous output current and a 42A maximum output current. Like most Okuma Type A servo drives, it requires a single-phase control circuit ranging from 85 to 125VAC. A three-phase primary circuit between 180 and 240VAC is needed as input power.
To enable seamless operation and maintenance, the BLII-D50A comes with LED display systems that alarm you in case of any abnormality. For example, when the inverter DC voltage is abnormally high, the red lamp will switch on and display “OV.” Note, while there are three primary colors, each has different display names that portray a wide array of processes. BLII-D50A also features applied load inertia that is less than five times as large as rotor inertia. However, should the dynamic brake function fail to function correctly, it is prudent to add peripheral circuits.
