Product Description
The BLII-D series of servo-drives/amplifiers is one of the many automation tools from the Okuma manufacturing corporation. Okuma is a Japan-based multi-national manufacturing company with a rich history of innovative designs and constructions. Currently a key player in the manufacture and deployment of CNC machines for industrial automation, Okuma products are always designed to the highest standards and quality.
The BLII-D15A name code specifies a servo-amplifier with a single-axis, which is consequently compatible with a single-axis servo control board (SVCII) and a BLII-D15A P.U power unit. Based on the 15A in its name code, this servo-amplifier is of type-A and has a power unit capacity of 15. This implies that it is suitable for driving loads/motors with output power requirement of up to 0.8kw. Some of these compatible motors are equally produced by Okuma, and they include the following: BL-MH10E-20, BL-MH20E-20, BL-MS10E-30.
This drive is specified with the following input and output characteristics: it has an input voltage requirement between 180v – 240v AC at 50/60Hz for the main circuit, and a single-phase 85v – 125v AC for the control circuit. To drive the load, its output current capacity is at 4A for continuous discharge and 13A at maximum. Then, it sends the required analog control signal as a series of pulse-width-modulations (PWM) via an Insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT). For optimal operation, the BLII-D15A is also specified in terms of operating and storage conditions i.e. ambient conditions. It can be stored in temperatures ranging between -25℃ and 85℃, and can be operated safely within 0℃ and 60℃. Finally, and as part of its built-in functions, it delivers a load inertia that is less than 5-times as large as the rotor inertia and features an alarm status display via an LED.
