Product Description

The BDU drives are manufactured by Asia’s leading solution provider Okuma Corporation. The drive is one basic component of servo control unit, and it is responsible for receiving the command signal from the control unit, then amplify that signal and transmit the electric current to the connected servomotor. The amount of current supplied to the servomotor results in the motion as desired by the control unit. The servo drive gets actual motor status through the sensor attached to it and compare the actual status with commanded status. The servo drives are basically trying to meet the actual status of the servomotor with the command status in order to get highly accurate results. In case of deviation, the servo drive modifies its frequency, pulse width and voltage for correction.

The BDU-75A is a servomotor drive that belongs to type A category. The drive module by Okuma features ZB axis control that supports single-axis servo motor units. The BDU-75A features BL-120E20 or equivalent servomotor to achieve best results. The BL-120E20 AC servomotor features continuous stall torque of 12.6 Nm. The rated speed of the motor is also on the higher side, 2000 RPM. The servomotor model offers control type E (specific for single-axis servo motors) and has power consumption of 345 Watts. The ambient temperature of the servomotor is between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius, and its humidity is below 85% RH. The servomotor features taper shaft.

As far as the servo drives’ input voltage is concerned it’s not more than a household voltage, between 200 and 220 volts. The current variation of this drive is quite wide. A variation between 0 and 50 A allows the drive to find better precision and accuracy in meeting standard commands.
