Product Description
The MIV22-3-V1 inverter manufactured by Okuma is used with a DC power supply to render a motion control system. The product is capable of controlling axis drive motors and spindle motors by using its built-in control board. The device comprises multiple links such as the converter link, the encoder link and the servo link for communication with the peripherals. The unit has an ICB3 type control board. Its front panel depicts the type name of the inverter. This product is designed for use with VAC motors that have 22kW rated motor output. The device is sized at 380 x 150 x 325mm (H x W x D). The unit comprises two terminal blocks at the top and bottom. These terminal blocks are screwed in place using M6 size screws.
The inverter features an easy monitoring mechanism due to its LED display. The product supports two display modes. The device portrays a one-axis specification to control one motor. The unit incorporates a power board, an electrolytic capacitor, a radiation fin and a cooling fan. This fan must be replaced by loosening both the screws holding the top panel in place at the upper part and opening it. It is important to replace the inverter with only a matching unit. This product comes with a one-year warranty backup.
The control board of the device supports the observation of the associated servo waveforms through the connection of an oscilloscope to the motor terminal. The inverter can be connected to an SWM monitor after disconnecting the 24VDC connector. The product can be connected with either a power regeneration type or a resistor regeneration type DC power supply based on the regeneration method. It is possible to connect more than one device with just one DC power supply. This inverter is dispatched to the desired address through reputed freight carriers.
