The MIV15-1-B1 is an industrial inverter unit produced by Okuma to carry out accurate motion control of spindle motors and axis drive motors used in industrial production and processing systems. This inverter unit is designed by highly trained industrial operators; it features a novel industrial design that makes it compatible with a wide range of machines used in textile industries, food production industrials, metal forming industries, and more. This inverter unit features a modular design that aids the temperature regulation process of the inverter unit and allows for the direct integration of the inverter into the control cabinet. Under ideal operating conditions, the MIV15-1-B1 inverter unit maintains an operational efficiency of about 95 per cent.
The MIV15-1-B1 industrial inverter unit is operating in combination with a DC power supply unit to form a reliable control system. The power supply unit supplies the inverter with an input voltage of about 300 Volts. The electrical components of this inverter unit generate a leakage current of about 3.5 milliamperes.
