Specifically, the MIV06-1-B1 is an Okuma MCS single-axis servo drive unit with MIV inverter technology. Spindle/axis drive motors are often driven by this device. It has an ICB1 integrated control board for motor control. The MIV06-1-B1 has single-axis control characteristics, which makes it ideal for certain types of motors. This type also has a 6 kW (8.05 hP) capacity due to its single axis. This equipment is powered by a supply unit that operates at 300/24 Volts (DC). In addition, this model is ideally suited for usage with Okuma BL/PREX motors. This motor inverter has a control ROM that is of type 1.

This unit is built with a high-capacitance capacitor as part of its construction. This device unit has external dimensions of 380 x 100 x 325 mm and weighs around 7.3 kg (16.1 lb). On the front panel of the MIV06-1-B1 unit is a 7-segment LED, each of which signifies a different state. There are two modes of operation: one for the alarm system and one for regular operation. Aside from that, the LED also displays an error code to aid in determining the cause of a warning. Inverter overheating, converter link error, encoder error, absolute scale error, resolver error, and many more are examples of alarm codes that can be displayed on the LED.
