Product Description

The MIV0404-1-B3 is an industrial inverter unit that is rated for 4 kilowatts line side capacity and 4 kilowatts motor side capacity. It is one of the components of Okuma motion control systems (MCS). The other component is a DC power supply unit that can be connected to more than one inverter unit. The DC power supply requires 200 Volts AC input that is conditioned by first passing through an electro-magnetic contactor and an AC reactor. The inverter unit is used for motor control applications. The inverter can be used in applications that use BL and PREX motors. The control board on the MIV0404-1-B3 is ICB1. The control board enables control of spindle motors and axis drive motors. The control ROM on the unit is type 3. The MIV0404-1-B3 requires 300 Volts DC input from the power supply. The inverter also requires 24 Volts DC input for the control electronics.
