Product Description
The MIV02-1-B1 inverter offered by Okuma supports connectivity to a power regeneration type MPS power supply unit or a resistor generation type MPR power supply unit. This inverter must comprise a connection to the MPS power supply if the motion control system incorporates a spindle drive motor. The product is connected to a network through a servo link. The device functions like a slave station in the servo link. Its controller ID number should be set according to the axis name by using a 5-bit switch. The unit depicts one-axis specifications. The L side switch of this inverter should be set while the M side switch must be OFF.
The product displays EL and 01 alternatively on the LED display in the front panel on the left side whenever there is an exception error. This display highlights the L2 and L3 error codes to denote external data bus error and external address bus error respectively in the RAM. The device requires a replacement to be performed whenever there is a control board error or a control voltage error. Its operating conditions have to be assessed when it gets overheated and/or overloaded. The inverter gives out an alarm message when the power supply unit is faulty.
The seven-segment display of the inverter does not light up during the first stage of hardware initialization like that of the memory. The product features separate codes to highlight the alarm numbers and warning numbers. The device depicts a rated continuous capacity of 2.8kW. The lower and upper terminal blocks of the unit are secured in place by means of M4 and M6 size screws respectively. It is connected to an MPR power supply if an axis drive motor is used in the motion control system. This MIV02-1-B1 motor is deliverable across the globe through a trustworthy logistics network with backup support for one year.
