Product Description
Okuma is a manufacturer of industrial drive control systems and motion control products for industrial automation.
The ER-JH-7200D is a high quality absolute position encoder produced by the company. This model has specifically been designed for position feedback and axis feedback in the OSP 5000 systems. The absolute position encoders manufactured by the company are often used with the BL motor types (including the BLID, BLD, and BDU) motors. The FB and FC type encoders manufactured by the company have been designed for making the 2048 revolution before turning over. The absolute position encoders produced by the company are also used in rotary tables and high speed turrets. The output shaft of the HC type encoder can turn 7200 revs in one complete cycle. The ER-JH-7200D has been equipped with a multi pole resolver. The multipole resolver is used for lower digit positioning (.0001).
The encoder can also be used for upper digit positioning. The absolute encoder can be physically attached to the BL motor. The system can also be attached to the ATC magazines that are hydraulically driven. The encoder is also equipped with a shaft that is enclosed in a casing. The control is used to send a 5 kHz sine and cosine signal to the MPR in the absolute position encoder. A clock signal is generated by the CNC control that compares the phase offset between the sine and MPR feedback signal. At every 36 degrees turn of the output shaft, the absolute position encoder turns 360 degrees. This is equal to 16384 clock pulses per the tenth revolution. For every 360 degree phase shift, the E8-1 rotor rotates one position.
