Product Description
Okuma is a manufacturer of industrial drive control systems and automation products.
The E4809-045-109-E OPUS 5000 II SVP Board is a high quality SVP board unit that is designed for automation of the servo motors manufactured by the company. The SVP board unit belongs to the series of CNC control boards that are used in different types of lathes, machining centers, drives, motors, and human machine interfaces. These control boards are popular because of their ability to make and implement drive control decisions in a very short span of time. The E4809-045-109-E OPUS 5000 II SVP Board can be used to control the brushless type servo motors produced by the company. The SVP board is able to provide timing for the SVP and can also provide the DA signal for the spindle.
The E4809-045-109-E OPUS 5000 II SVP Board is able to determine the axis position and speed. Depending on the specific types, the SVP board can be used in a lathe or a machining center. The SVP board has the ability to control up to six sensors, a pulse handle, a pulse generator, and a DA/AD. Up to three signal types can be processed by the SVP board that include RAPA, RCON, and RDIFF. RAPA is the actual axis position data that is generated by the position encoder that is provided with the axis servo motors. RCON is the commanded or the computed axis data. RDIFF is the error which follows. A single SVP board can be used to handle two axes simultaneously. It is possible to increase the number of SVP boards to control more than two axes.
