Product Description
Okuma is a trusted manufacturer of industrial drive control parts and motion control systems.
The E4809-045-109-D OPUS 5000 II SVP Board is an SVP control board that comes from the class of CNC control boards produced by Okuma that are used for advanced automation tasks. The CNC controls produced by the company are frequently used in CNC lathes, HMIs, drives, and motors for making various types of automation decisions. These control boards have the ability to make and implement automation decisions in a very short span of time. The SVP control board is a servo processor board that is used to control the brushless servo motors produced by the company. The SVP control board determines the position and speed of the axis. The SVP board is also equipped to handle a single DA/AD. It can also control one pulse handle, one pulse generator, and six sensors.
The E4809-045-109-D OPUS 5000 II SVP Board is able to compute three major signals that include RDIFF, RCON, and RAPA. The absolute position encoder used on the axis servo motors generates the actual position data (RAPA). RCON is the command axis or computed data while RDIFF is the following error. The E4809-045-109-D OPUS 5000 SVP board is able to control two axes simultaneously. Additional SVP boards can be added to the system if more than two axes have to be controlled. Different types of SVP boards can be tailored for specific functions. Depending on their specific types, the SVP boards can be used with lathes or machining centers. The DA IF used in the SVP board generates a full-scale 10 volts analog signal that can be used for spindle speed control.
