The E4809-045-039-C OPUS 5000 Axis board is used in the OSP 5000 controls manufactured by the company. The axis board is one of the many control boards that are installed in the OSP 5000 automation system for better control and handling of CNC machining centers and lathe machines. For controlling multiple axes through the SVP board, additional axis cards can be mounted on the OSP 5000 systems. By using additional axis boards on axis cards, up to 10 axes can be controlled by a single OSP 5020 CNC unit. The SVP board can be installed with a single additional axis card that comes with one axis control, a position encoder, and a sensor. It is possible to install up to three axis cards on a single SVP board.
The SVP board installed on the OSP 5000 systems is used to control the motion of brushless servo motors. The speed and position of the axis are determined by the SVP board for which the E4809-045-039-C OPUS 5000 axis board is required. In addition, the SVP board is designed to handle one pulse handle, up to six sensors, and one pulse generator. The SVP board can control the actual axis position data coming from the absolute position encoder that is installed on the axis servo motors. The SVP and the axis board allow the OSP 5000 to control the CNC lathe machines, drives, human machine interfaces, and motors. The OSP 5000 is also provided with integrated graphics for ease of use and user friendliness.
