The system has been specifically designed for controlling the speed and position in the CNC machining centers and lathe machines. This model is provided with a powerful feedback loop that can monitor the speed and position at every instant. The system is provided with a tach generator for feedback purposes for the spindle drive’s motor. For the spindle itself, an optical pulse generator is used for providing real-time feedback on the position and speed. The E4809-045-019-C SDU-600-W is similar to the LDU 600 axis because both these systems are thyristor-based. Thyristor-based systems control the rotational speed of the DC motor by controlling the firing angle of the thyristors.
