Product Description
Okuma is a manufacturer of industrial automation systems and drive control products that are used in industries around the world.
The E4809-032-293-F is a REED Relay that is used for assisting the automation of servo motors. The REED relay is installed in the OPUS 5000 system that is used for the automation of servo motors and other industrial equipment like CNC machining centers and lathe machines. The OPUS 5000 system is provided with an EC I/O rack that is an external system and is separate from the OPUS control rack. The ECP rack is frequently found on the Okuma machining centers. The rack houses the E4809-032-293-F reed relay and contains a receiver/driver and other I/O boards. The EC control unit (also known as the D/R board) is used as an interface between the EC I/O rack and the ECP-IIA board. A power supply is also connected with the system which provides power to all the I/O boards.
The I/O boards are also equipped with status LEDs. The E4809-032-293-F reed relay output board has 8 outputs. Its primary function in driving small power relays. Power delivered to this board is 5 Volts and 12 Volts DC. In addition to the reed relay board, the EC I/O rack is also provided with the AC SSR output board. The board is able to handle a total of 8 output signals. This board uses 1 amp for operating at maximum load and comes with 8 outputs that are fused. A DC SSR output is also provided with the system which has a maximum load of 1.6 amps and the SSRs can handle 24 Volts DC. The board has 8 output signals.
