Product Description

The DCPS-2 DC power supply that is produced by Okuma is utilized with two-axis and four-axis servo drives in CNC machines. The power supply portrays 60A current rating and 220VAC voltage rating. The product is sized at 48 x 15 x 27kg (L x W x H). The device has a weight of 13kg. This unit can be used with up to six servo drives. It converts the incoming 220VAC voltage to 300VDC. This power supply has seven LED indicators on its printed circuit board. The PS and MCON LEDs of this device light up in green color when it is supplied with power and its MCS relay is de-energized respectively.

The product encompasses a capacitor discharge switch. This switch must be used to turn OFF the device before the power supply or the servo drive is removed. The LV, HV and PH LEDs glow in red color when low voltage, high voltage and phase loss are detected. A DC power supply supports fan cooling, water cooling or heatsink cooling. A linear power supply has simpler components and circuitry when compared to a switching power supply that makes it less complex as well. This DC supply is eligible for shipping to the preferred address.

Linear DC power supplies have limited efficiency as against switching DC power supplies. This power supply takes the energy in a power input like a generator, alternator or battery and transfers it to an electrical load. A switching DC supply comprises a regulator for power conversion with less heat dissipation. The regulator present in the supply may either be a semiconductor or a complex integrated circuit to ensure a constant DC voltage for changes that occur in the input load or line voltage. The filter produces a smooth DC voltage by removing the rectified voltage fluctuations. This DC supply has a one-year warranty.
