Product Description
Servo motors are the backbone of any form of drive solution and Okuma has contributed significantly to the global drive industry with its servo motors. Okuma is a Japan-based manufacturer of machine tools with CNC machine tools including CNC lathes and turn-mill machining centers as part of the products that make up its product portfolio. The Okuma BL series is a range of AC servo motors with efficient speed and torques for different kinds of industrial applications.
The BL-MC200J-20SNA-A is an AC servo motor model designed and manufactured by Okuma. It has a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute and a stall torque of 21Nm. It is equipped with 8 poles and has a continuous power output rating of 4kW with a maximum current of 16.2A. As a product of insulation class F according to the NEMA standard, the maximum temperature of the motor’s winding insulation is 155oC. The servo motor is a control type J model, and its nominal rated input voltage is 157V. Its vibration levels should be tested regularly to ensure that its lubricant grease is sufficient in its bearings to prevent its overheating.
The required ambient temperature at the site of operation of the BL-MC200J-20SNA-A falls within a range of 0oC and 55oC. It can be mounted within a control cabinet, but the exterior temperature of this housing should be kept between 0oC and 45oC. As a motor of the BL-motor series, its drive controller is the Okuma BL-D servo drives. To prolong its service life, the use of chips, coolants and lubricating oils around the servo motor must be monitored closely. Also, its maximum recommended vibrating rating must be strictly adhered to.
