Okuma is a manufacturer of reliable automation systems and drive control units for industrial automation.

The BL-MC150E-20S is an integral part of the AC servo motor system manufactured for drive control applications. The servo motor is housed along with the servo amplifier along with the SVC board. The servo amplifier consists of an outer casing that provides protection to the inner sensitive components such as the circuit protector, a rectifying diode, and an IGBT for the inverter. The BL-MC150E-20S is connected to the SVP board by using the servo amplifier. The real time data on position is fed to the SVP board by the main board. The SVP board is also used for controlling the position, speed, and torque with very high efficiency. The servo amplifier is used for amplifying the current command signals which are then fed to the BL motor as the power.

The servo amplifier has been made compatible with a three phase and a single-phase connection. The single-phase connection feeds the control circuit with a 100 V supply while the three phase connection feeds the main circuit with a 200 V connection. This model can control the speed and position with very high accuracy. This model can operate in a wide range of ambient conditions. The servo amplifier can be used in areas with a maximum relative humidity of 75%. The system can give its best performance within a temperature range of 0 °C and 55 °C. The outer enclosure has a rugged design that enables the system to sustain vibrations up to 0.5 G. This model is constructed using an SVII board, a power board, a radiator plate, etc.
